The Seabird rosette has been deployed since 2008 (to present) from the M/V NAMAO during each research cruise (spring, summer, fall), with few exceptions.

Data collection includes:

  • depth (m)
  • temperature (C)
  • specific conductance (microS/cm)
  • dissolved oxygen (mg/L and % saturation)
  • turbidity (NTU)
  • chlorophyll (RFUB)
  • descent rate (m/s)
  • surface and underwater photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) (uEm^-2s^-1).

No surface PAR for 2008 to 2011. Underwater PAR not corrected to surface PAR from 2012 to present.
