Transient Tracers

Transient tracers data products describe the concentration and distribution of chemical tracers used to track ocean circulation, ventilation, and water mass age, such as CFCs, SF₆, tritium, and helium isotopes. These data products support studies of ocean mixing and transport, carbon uptake, climate variability, and long-term changes in deep-ocean renewal processes.
