Surface Salinity

Surface salinity data products describe the concentration of dissolved salts in seawater at or near the ocean surface. These data products support monitoring of the global water cycle, ocean circulation and mixing, climate variability, freshwater input from rivers and ice melt, and studies of ocean–atmosphere interactions.
