Updated description of Team 4: Carbon cycling from
The objective of Team 4 is to differentiate the relative importance of climate-related impacts and industrial impacts on the Bay’s carbon source/sink status, and is responsible for the measurement of carbon system variables within the Bay and its major estuaries.
toThe carbon cycling team focused on the role of freshwater in moderating the carbon system of Hudson Bay. This ultimately led to increasing our understanding of carbon cycling and Hudson Bays' current and future role as a carbon dioxide source/sink derived from multi-season analysis.
