Method Summary

KuKa Radar was used to sample sea ice and lake ice at Churchill, Manitoba between December 2nd and 13th. The Surface-based fully polarimetric radar operating in Ku and Ka band frequency was used to obtain Ku and Ka band radar interactions over different sea ice and lake ice conditions on different sampling days.
