Updated description of Team 1: Marine/climate systems from
The objective of Team 1 is to understand and differentiate between how changes in climate variability and regulation will affect (or have affected) processes related to mass and energy exchange between the freshwater, marine, sea ice and atmosphere systems. The focus of Team 1 will be processes determining timing, location and volume of freshwater supply to Hudson Bay.
toThe marine/climate systems team worked to understand how changes in climate variability and hydroelectric regulation affected processes related to light, heat and momentum exchange, between the freshwater, marine, sea ice, and atmospheric systems. They then examined how these processes have manifested changes in the physical properties and distribution of water masses in Hudson Bay.
